What is the HOP?
The Hosptial Outpatient Profiles (HOP) track physician office activity for the top diagnoses. Patient utilization information can be accessed conveniently by keyword or by ICD code. Each record includes discharge data, patient characteristics, visit characteristics, payment source, top ten medications prescribed, diagnostic/screening services provided, procedures prescribed, disposition, and more.
